Award-winning actor and director Eric Erickson - The Angry Viking - graduated from the University of Southern California's School of Theatre and spent his early acting years performing on stages across the country in roles ranging from Hamlet and Mercutio to Conrad Birdie and Charlie Chaplin. He starred in the feature films "Truth" and "Jurassic Galaxy" and appeared in "Dam Sharks!" and "Last Call at Murray's" and the television shows "The Last Ship," "The Young and the Restless" and "Stitchers." He also appeared in the cult favorite "Snake Outta Compton" as Alley Jaws. In 2017 he wrote and directed his first feature film "Truth," in which he also co-starred. He received Best Director awards for the film from the Silver State Film Festival and the Marina del Rey Film Festival and a Best Actor and Best Storytelling award from the Laughlin International Film Festival. It also won best feature at the Worldwide Women's Film Festival and Eric was nominated for best actor at the Bloodstained Indie Film Festival in Japan. He presented "Truth" in Arkhangelsk, Russia in 2018 at the Arctic Open Film Festival. Eric founded the production company Viking Dog Films, which is developing a number of film projects in the action and science fiction genres. Eric wrote, directed and executive produced the audio drama adaption of Eisner Award winning comic book artist and writer Nicola Cuti's character Moonie . Eric gained the name "The Angry Viking" while doing stand-up comedy and has performed on stages including The World Famous Comedy Store, Garrett Morris' Downtown Comedy Club and with The Rebels of Comedy. He even spent some time as the master of ceremonies in one of Wrigleyville's largest sports bars, working a crowd of thousands of Cubs fans every night.
