Handsome blonde boy Thomas Carnahan born Thomas Benton Carnahan in Pittsburgh in 1903. Became one of the most popular child actors from the early 1910's starring in comedy, drama and fantasy films, making his debut as Little George Washington in 'The Passing Parade' for the Eclair American Film Co in 1912, perhaps his most memorable role as Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk' at the Kinemacolor Film Co in 1912 and as Chris in 'Chris and His Wonderful Lamp' directed by Alan Crosland at the Conquest Pictures Co in 1917. His last film appearance as George Selby Jr in J. Seale Dawley's 'Uncle Tom's Cabin' starring Marguerite Clark for the Famous Players-Lasky in 1918. Occasionally billed as Junior Carnahan. As an adult he became a classical stage actor. Died 2 days after his 46th birthday in 1949.
