Wally Cherwinski

Dr Wally Cherwinski is a videographer based in Ottawa, Canada. Wally holds both a PhD in chemistry and a graduate degree in journalism & communications. He spent a portion of his science career conducting research and teaching at the University of Cambridge, England while doubling as a freelance photographer and writer. He has written and directed documentaries with Canada's National Film Board and produced numerous travel videos. His background includes 10 years as Communications Director for the Canadian Space Program and In 2004, he was nominated for Canada's prestigious Michael Smith Award for the Public Awareness of Science.
