Patrick Clancy was born in Ireland. He moved to England and grew up in North London, where he studied performing arts at The Arts Educational. He turned professional at the age of eighteen. After a year of contracts in the provinces, he was offered and created the title role in 'Dick Turpin' at the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith. He has appeared in many original London productions, including: Young Frankenstein, Boorskale, The Producers, Doctor Doolittle, Tommy, The Iron Man, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreacoat, The Ultimate Man, Aspects of Love, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Mutiny!, Blondel. Other credits include over one hundred and fifty theatre and television productions, regular guest on BBC radio, and international concert soloist performances.
