A native of Northern New Jersey, Jeff Cioletti studied journalism and political science at Rutgers University. But he always knew filmmaking was his true calling. At age 5, he discovered Star Wars which, more than 20 years later, became the subject matter of his first documentary, Millennium's End: The Fandom Menace (2000). At age 12, he became an avid fan of the British sci-fi series, "Doctor Who", which was explored in his second documentary, "Chronotrip" The latter film was about the science and science fiction of time travel, with a focus on the themes explored in "Doctor Who". In 2001 he became the first winner of the Matters of the Force Film Festival at DragonCon in Atlanta. "Millennium's End: The Fandom Menace" won "Best Overall Film" and "Best Documentary". Jeff is hard at work on his third documentary, which will be released in 2003.
