Kelli Thompson

Kelli Thompson was a publicist who worked on ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK. Previously she worked as a publicist for Charles Lippincott, the marketing genius behind STAR WARS. Charles, aka Charley, started his own publicity and marketing firm called Creative Movie Marketing (CMM). While working at CMM Kelli worked with Charley on publicity for numerous films including ALIEN, THE BLACK STALLION, COAL MINER'S DAUGHTER, ROCK 'N' ROLL HIGH SCHOOL, and FLASH GORDON. Later, while raising two children, Kelli worked as an animal wrangler in film and television. Her credits include STAR TREK: GENERATIONS (where she worked with Spot, Data's cat), BRIDE OF REANIMATOR, STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, KNOT'S LANDING, THE TRACEY ULLMAN SHOW, MURDER SHE WROTE, THE MAGIC JOHNSON SHOW, etc. Kelli then worked as an assistant production coordinator on the films HARD RAIN, BUFFALO SOLDIERS, BLACK CAT RUN, and on the pilot for the TV series MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE. Kelli is also an accomplished photographer whose works have appeared on NBC Evening News, The Today Show, and in numerous publications and periodicals (Cinefantastique, Starlog, The Herald Examiner, The World of Fantasy Films, Tournaments Illuminated, Medieval Fantasy as Performance, The Known World Handbook, etc.).
