John Coombes

John Coombes has been making films and television programmes in the UK for over 30 years, producing over 200 hours of broadcast television. He initially worked in live television producing large outside broadcasts and studio programmes. He went on to design the games for many TV shows including Gladiators and The Really Wild Show. John has written drama series for both BBC and ITV. He's directed dance films that have been shown in film festivals around the world. He has made documentaries ranging from the plight of orphans from the war in Kosovo, to under-privileged children on the streets of East Leeds.
