Henry Crawford ws born and raised in the Australian outback, attending a school with only 8 students. He moved to Brisbane to study law, (concurrently working in the District Attorney's office on criminal trials). He became interested in theatre and joined 'Twelfth Night' theater and later turned professional. Later he joined Australia's largest production company, Crawford Productions (owned by distant relatives). This was early TV drama days and he set up a casting office and was soon casting 60 roles a week. later he started a Theater company for Crawfords (Liberace Show, Glen Campbell Show), then became a story editor and producer. With around 1000 hours of drama to his credit (much of it top rating) he took a sabbatical and built an up-scale island resort in Fiji, called Vatulele. Crawford served on the Board of the Australian Film Commission, and was a noted Australian producer of 'quality' dram product. His miniseries won and international Emmy award and many others.
