With an extensive background in Marketing (Paramount Pictures) and Market Research (NRG, Nielsen, NRGi, Live Theatrical Events and ERm) Joseph segued into writing/producing with the indie Moving August (2002) while still at NRG. After starting a new independent Market Research company (ERm) with a partner, he was among the producers that brought the musical Memphis (2010 Best Musical Tony Award) to Broadway. In 2013, Joseph's company Stement produced the Broadway musical with Junkyard Dog Productions. That same year saw the release of Kids for Cash of which he was an associate producer. October 9, 2015 is the release date for the movie version of the novel Big Stone Gap. Stement is busy prepping sixteen new series created by for a new platform. In 2015, Steeplejax, a company he co-founded, will begin production on it's slate of ten low budget (under 5 million dollars)films. Lucky and grateful is how Joseph describes his life in the entertainment industry.
