Lynn d'Angona has over twenty years experience in film and television. d'Angona started her career as a first Assistant Director in 1987 working on such feature films as I Don't Buy Kisses Anymore (1992), Big Night (1996) and Gods and Monsters (1998). Her assistant directing experience also extends to television with such series as Saving Grace (2007), The X-Files (1993) and Boomtown (2002) and multiple pilots including Numb3rs (2005), The Commuters and Demons. She has been a 2nd Unit director since 1995, creating adrenaline-packed stunt, water and pyrotechnic sequences on features such as, Megiddo: The Omega Code 2 (2001), Backstreet Justice (1994), Leprechaun 4: In Space (1996), Pinocchio's Revenge (1996) and Evolver (1995). Lynn d'Angona made her directorial debut in 1995 with the award winning short Lulu Askew (1995) starring Stanley Tucci and Lisa Eichhorn. In 2004 she directed and produced her second award winning film, a documentary Between the White Lines (2004), a captivating portrait of tenacity and sacrifice in women's athletics. d'Angona is currently in pre-production to direct her first feature from a screenplay she co-wrote entitled, Beach Towels, for which Girl Talk, a short film produced as one of seven for the DGA Women Kodak 35mm project, is based. She is also currently producing and directing the NASA documentary R.I.S.K. - Radiation in Space = Knowledge scheduled for completion in 2010. d'Angona is a graduate of Ithaca College and lives in Los Angeles, California and Boston, Massachusetts.
