Aric Cushing studied at the American Conservatory Theater and the London Court Theater in England. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts, he toured the Pacific Northwest in a 2-person traveling road show. He grew up in Boulder Creek, California and divides his time between acting and writing. Some of his books, plays, and anthologies include the 5-time award winning middle grade book Vampire Boy, Dracula (A Play in 2 Acts), and Don't Turn Out the Lights: A Tribute to Alvin Schwartz and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (Random House).
