London-born Greene moved to the U.S. when she was nineteen. At twenty-five years old, she produced her first prime-time network movie of the week in Los Angeles for CBS television. Over the last twenty years, Greene has developed, produced or executive-produced dozens of movies and mini-series for television. Greene also served the CBS network as the in-house "Senior Executive Producer". The main focus of those two years involved supervising the network's largest, most complicated shows, while consulting on foreign co-productions with creative, legal and production problems. As a writer, she has four screenplays to her credit, including a Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) episode that was produced during the fourth season of the show and a small family film based on the novel "Beekman's Big Deal". She was married to the late British director, David Greene. She has two American sons. For the last ten years, Greene has divided her time between London and California.
