Jerry Griffin is a seasoned actor with principal character experience in a myriad of productions from stage, film, and television, to voice-overs and musical comedy (he was Dracula in 'The Kiss of Dracula', sung with a Transylvanian accent, and yes, fangs.). He graduated with a degree in Journalism from Georgia State University where he wrote and anchored an Emmy-award-winning news program covering the Georgia Legislature. His photojournalistic work was published in the Atlanta Constitution. Despite his many successes he shifted gears to begin a career in acting. His first principal was in the intense Vietnam war play, 'Wasted', the NY Drama Critics selection as best original play outside New York. His success prompted him to move north. He landed a recurring role on 'All My Children', where he was smitten with Erica Kane's sister. His industrial film experience is extensive, with principle roles for NY Stock Exchange, Coca Cola, NAPA Auto Parts, Metropolitan Life, Southern Company, Hyatt Regency and Equinox. Jerry was involved in the creation of, 'Secrets: The Untold Story of Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung', with Broadway Producer Ken Wydro ('Joe Turner's Come and Gone' by August Wilson, 'Mamma I want To Sing'). Jerry originated the role of Carl Jung in the piece. He has the great honor of being a good dad to two great boys. Most recently Jerry had his shoes shined in the movie's beginning by the young Samuel L. Jackson and was directed by George Nolfi in 'The Banker' (2019).
