This Texas native trained at Louisiana State University and shared the Claude L. Shaver Award his final year. After college, he received an Air Force officer's commission and for the next several years performed theatre wherever he was stationed in the US and Europe. After leaving the service and arriving in California Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993) producer Ellen Levy-Sarnoff cast him in a guest starring role on an episode she wrote during the show's first season when it emerged as huge hit for Fox. Levy-Sarnoff was so impressed with Guest's versatility that she brought him back in different roles for four additional episodes. Soon he landed a recurring role on the CBS daytime The Young and the Restless (1973). Guest enjoyed the experience and particularly the professionalism shown to him by series regular Peter Bergman. Guest performed in Los Angeles area theatre productions as Andrey Botvinik in "A Walk In The Woods", Antonio Salieri in "Amadeus" and Chris Keller in "All My Sons." Recent film roles include the Nick Swedlund helmed family drama film Sanctuary (2008) with Trevor Morgan, the dark comedy Midlife (2010) with Arye Gross and he is slated to portray Hawaiian ghost story author Glen Grant in the supernatural thriller "Obake."
