Jeanie Hackett

Jeanie is an actor / director / teacher / author / artistic director. She writes about all things acting + creative process + theater art & management. She has acted on Broadway, regional and Los Angeles theater, and in television & film. She's been the artistic director of two vibrant Los Angeles theater companies, and has directed at The Wallis Annenberg Center, L.A. Theatre Works & The Antaeus Company and The Williamstown Theatre Festival. She's the author of two books on acting: "The Actor's Chekhov" & "Toward Mastery." both based on the work of the late director and teacher, Nikos Psacharopoulos. Jeanie is an acting teacher & private acting coach and also teaches for the SAG-AFTRA Academy.
