Damon Harman received his Associate Degree in film and video production from The Center Of Recording Arts in Orlando Florida. Upon arriving in Los Angeles in 1996, Damon directed commercials for Coca Cola, Emporio Armani, and Calvin Klein. He produced commercials for Eckerd Drugstore and national promos for Cinemax Asia, Fox Family Worldwide, Pax TV, and Blind Date. In the fall of '99 he directed the first season of "Courage" a re-creation series hosted by Danny Glover that premiered on Fox Family Channel. Moving into Reality Television, Harman Co-Created, Executive Produced and was the Showrunner of the hit dating show, MTV's "Taildaters" (2002), which aired 130 episodes in 4 seasons. Other Executive Producer / Showrunner credits include hidden camera show, MTV's "Burned" (2003), which premiered in July, 2003 with a 30 episode order, "VH1's S.O.S. Love Songs" and "Remix", a DJ dance competition pilot created and executive produced by Damon, sponsored by Avery's Afterburner DJ labeling software. In January 2004 Harman partnered with Steve Harvey and Rushion McDonald to Executive Produce 12 episodes of "Pulled Over" for Style Network, hosted by Nia Peoples. Other projects for '04 include, Executive Producer - Phil Vassar music video - "Good Ole Days" for Sony BMG and Ultimate Bet.Com - Annie Duke's No Limit Texas Holdem' Tips & Tricks commercial series. Harman directed and executive produced ensemble music video and behind the scenes documentary "Forever In Our Hearts". Artists include Brian McKnight, Mya, Nate Dogg, and many others who came together to support the victims of the Tsunami tragedy 2005. The song and video sold on iTunes and all proceeds went to Tsunami Relief. In July 2005 Damon executive produced "Adventures In The C-League" a TV Pilot for Fox Sports. 2006 brought a new opportunity for Harman with Mobile Content for cell phones. Partnered with content aggregator GoTV, Damon produced over 50 hours of 10 minute sponsored clips for the 3G Sprint Network. Other projects for 2006 include commercial campaign, "Barbeque Fantasy" for client DCS by Fisher and Paykel. In 2007 - 2008 Damon executive produced "ReNew Orleans", a documentary hosted by actor Louis Gossett Jr. and sponsored by retail home improvement store Brand Source. The documentary was centered on the rebuilding of a community center in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. Harman created and managed a nationwide advertising campaign for Brand Source to promote their involvement, which included print, television, online, radio and the nationally televised documentary which Damon sold to local affiliate networks in 180 markets. 2009 - 2011 brought Damon an opportunity outside of the entertainment business. Relocating to Atlanta to be near family while starting his own, Harman worked along side his uncle brokering mergers and acquisitions of small to medium size businesses. Currently, (2012) at 35 years of age, Damon is back in Los Angeles exploring producer opportunities and is the proud father and husband to wife Maria and two-year-old son Oliver.
