Born in Santa Monica, California, Scott began his career with the prestigious Groundlings Improv Comedy Theater in 1983. While studying and performing at the Groundlings, Scott became known for his very popular, long-running comedy piece, "White Sport Coat." Scott went on to become a member of other notable improv comedy groups including, "Psychic Poker." He co-wrote, and performed in, the popular late-night comedy show, "Ademire, Meus, Uxor, Sis! (A Night of Pretentious Theater)" at the Company of Angels Theater, Silver Lake, in the late 1980's. In 2001, the cast of "Psychic Poker" re-united for a series of monthly performances at the ACME Comedy Theater in Hollywood. In addition to his work in improvisational comedy theater, Scott has enjoyed a successful career performing in numerous national television commercials, as well as many television sitcoms.
