Jennifer first moved to Los Angeles in 1997 to pursue an acting career after spending her teenage years performing in various theatrical productions in and around her hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota. She got her feet wet behind the camera when she landed the lead role in her first feature film. She went on to appear in network cable shows, commercials, and theatrical productions in Los Angeles. After a handful of years, Jennifer pursued another avenue of storytelling after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from California State University Northridge. She went on to work as a television news producer for NBC and CBS affiliates in California and Minnesota and won an Edward R. Murrow Award for her journalistic writing. In 2011, Jennifer stepped down from her career in television news when she had her first child. Her second child was born in 2013. In 2014, she embarked on a career as a screenwriter, blending her prior worlds of actress and writer. Her first script, a romantic-drama called "Resurrection Road," won Best Screenplay at the Churches Making Movies Film Festival. The script was later optioned by Sandalphon Entertainment and is slated to go into production in 2021. Jennifer is represented by literary agent Joe Fronk with Artistry in Beverly Hills.
