Tanna Herr began her theatrical career at the age of nine, delivering a stellar performance as the hindquarters of Cinderella's horse. Since this auspicious debut she's never looked back. Tanna received her Bachelor Degree at UCLA's department of Theatre Arts, earning commendations for directing and stage-managing. After graduating she acted professionally for many years, her first speaking role in the Michael J. Fox cult-classic, "Teen Wolf." She continued acting in television, commercials, and stage plays including an award-winning run of Charles Gordone's Pulitzer Prize winning play, "No Place to be Somebody." Tanna then pursued her passion for directing by completing The American Film Institute's masters directing program. Tanna's short film, "Mr. Willard Swallows a Fly," took her around the world to international film festivals, winning several awards along the way for Best Comedy Short. Her favorite stop was at the BBC short film festival in London (because they had the best tea). After directing over 50 stage productions she has returned to film. Her next project is the independent feature "Humbly Yours, Hassock Von Ottoman."
