Eric Hetzel is an Emmy, AFI, Peabody, and Image Award-winning film and television producer. Through August of 2014, he worked at Robert Cort Productions, where he oversaw development and production of projects for film and television. His most recent, on which he served as Producer, was Make Your Move. Written and directed by Duane Adler and starring Derek Hough and Korean superstar BoA, Make Your Move was in theaters in 2014. At Robert Cort Productions, Hetzel worked on projects with an array of talented screenwriters and filmmakers, in partnership with companies like Team Downey, Disney, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers, Lionsgate International, Fox Television Studios, SyFy, CJ Entertainment and SM Entertainment. Mr. Hetzel executive produced Something The Lord Made for HBO, which was one of HBO's most critically acclaimed made-for-television movies and remains one HBO's most viewed movies of all time. Mr. Hetzel has also produced Save The Last Dance 2 for MTV and Paramount, as well as The Rats, a made for television film for Fox. He was also involved with such films as Save The Last Dance, A Year Ago In Winter, Against the Ropes, The Out Of Towners, The Odd Couple II and made-for television movies The Agency and Harlan County War. Eric worked with Robert Cort for over 18 years, starting as a script reader at the Cort-Madden Company and working his way up through the ranks to eventually produce alongside Cort. Prior to that, Eric worked a variety of jobs on independent productions, including acting, grip, camera, sound and post production. He graduated with a B.A. in English in 1994 from the University of Southern California, where he studied creative writing under T. Coraghesson Boyle and worked his way through college at the School of Cinema Television.
