Magnus Falkberget

Actor and theater manager, son of famous Norwegian writer, Johan Falkberget. Made his stage debut at Edvard Drabløs' touring company around 1920, later engaged at the theater in Stavanger, and from 1924 in Trondheim. In 1929 he established his own travelling theater called Falkbergets Teater, where he was an actor and manager until his sudden death on holiday in Rome in December 1957. His repertory as manager was mostly comedies, crime dramas and operettas, his greatest success was written by his father, a comedy called: "Bør Børson". (dramatized by Toralf Sandø, a good colleague and friend) Magnus Falkberget was very much loved by his audience all over the country,and by his fellow actors and staff!
