Peiti Feng was born and raised in Taiwan. She immigrated to the United States with her family at age 16. Upon graduating from high school, she received a full scholarship to study biochemistry at UC Berkeley, where she graduated top of her class. She then received a stipend from the National Institute of Health to obtain her PhD in biochemistry at Harvard University. At the height of her study at Harvard, Feng grew dissatisfied with her academic pursuit. Against everyone's advice, Feng opted out with a master's degree and moved to Los Angeles in search of a more creative career path. Feng took an advertising executive job where she met Chinese born writer/director Ann Lu. Affected by Lu's passion for filmmaking, Peiti realized that cinema was the alternative path she was looking for. Feng sharpened her producing skills by working on various television commercials. In 1998, Feng executive produced Ann Lu's feature debut Dreamers, which was the official selection of eight international film festivals and won several awards, including Best Picture and Best Screenplay. When released theatrically in 2000, the film garnered great critical success. In 2004, Feng again teamed up with Lu to produce her second feature film Erosion, a poignant and emotionally charged drama about a couple breaking into strangers' homes to have sex and live stolen lives. Feng currently heads up No Face Pictures, a production company dedicated to producing quality films for a sophisticated audience. Feng is currently developing several feature films including Lu's next film, a superhero adventure about an American writer who falls in love with a Chinese ghost and struggles to save her through Eastern mystical powers.
