Mo Fitzgibbon is a successful and respected writer, producer and director. Persistence, dedication, and hard work have helped shape Fitzgibbon into being knowledgeable and a professional amongst her peers. Projects include broadcast television in biographies, documentaries, varieties, national commercials, and music specials and videos both in English and Spanish. In her early days, Fitzgibbon became skilled as a production coordinator and line producer. Soon thereafter, she launched her own production company and started producing and directing TV commercials, music videos, biopics, and TV reality shows. After experiencing every level of production. Over time it was a natural progression for her to elevate herself, into writing and developing her passion for projects of true crime stories in the documentary space and scripted world. Mo is an active member of the Los Angeles chapter of Women In Film (WIF) as an executive member. She has received countless recognition and awards to her credit. Known for Lifetime Television's Intimate Portrait of Gloria Estefan, she went on to win the prestigious NCLR's ALMA Bravo Award for 'Outstanding Made for Television Documentary'. She then garnered top honors for Gloria Estefan's DVD "Don't Stop", receiving a Grammy nomination in the 'Best Long Form' category. Also, she won the Dances With Films Audience Award for Joanna Tepper's, "Lets Save The Children" music video and public service announcements. In addition to numerous American Advertising Federation Gold and Silver Addys, Tellys, and she also won several New York Film Festival Awards for her work in national commercials and music videos. Mo Fitzgibbon is a daring writer, and producer who continues to transcend barriers, constantly evolving to fulfill her ultimate creative journey as a filmmaker.
