Ira Joe Fisher

Ira Joe Fisher resides in Ridgefield, sharing his home with his wife of 30 years and his 16-year-old daughter Ashley and 14-year-old son Dylan. His other sons, Josh and Shelby, who are 23 and 21, respectively, live nearby. Mr. Fisher currently reports the weather for CBS 2 New York. He has also worked at ABC and NBC. His own show, "The Ira Joe Fisher Show", ran from March 17, 1986 until December 13, 1988. The acting accomplishment of which he is most proud is his frequent guest starring role as Hucklebee (The Boy's Father) in the world's longest running off-Broadway musical, "The Fantasticks". Mr. Fisher enjoys writing poetry and giving lectures and workshops on the subjects of poetry, a passion of his since he was a teenager. He also has a talent for drawing, which he mostly uses for his various cartoons to amuse his family. One of his favorite subjects is his eleven-year-old Corgi, Theo.
