Tricia Fish is a Canadian screenwriter best known for writing "New Waterford Girl", a highly acclaimed coming-of-age comedy. She has written shorts, features - one of which she directed -- and written television drama, kids, and documentary. She was named one of Variety's Top Ten Writers to Watch, and her work has screened and gathered acclaim worldwide. A graduate of art schools and Norman Jewison's Canadian Film Centre in the writing program, Fish hails from Nova Scotia, and worked as a crew member in many different capacities before embarking on a professional writing career.
