Katia Forbert is a Polish/Danish film director, cinematographer, screenwriter, editor and producer. She is a graduate from the Lodz Film School, moved to Denmark in 1969 and made her first film "Polish Girls" in 1973. She has shot some 150 films including a number of features and worked on camera for German television (ZDF) and the Canadian Film Board. In 2012 she directed the documentary about the Danish prison choir, Fangekoret.
