Known as the Million Dollar Director of his generation, Fong Chiung is a Taiwanese film director with influence in Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland, China. Born in 1946, Fong achieved critical acclaim in the late 1970s and early 1980s Taiwan. At the peak of his career, Fong brought the genre of Kong Fu films to PRC after The Cultural Revolution.
