Biography

Margarita Franco was born in Indio, California on November 10th. She is a Mexican American actress. Her mother was born in Topo Chico of Monterrey, Mexico, and her father was born in El Paso, Texas. She has five brothers and was raised partly in Riverside, California, Orlando, Florida, and Eastside San Jose, California. Despite the necessity of leaving a chaotic family home at the tender age of 15, Margarita managed to complete school on her own. After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Margarita studied with Carmen Zapata, who was the director and founder of The Bilingual Foundation of the Arts, as well as the Meisner technique with David Alexander and Ken Lerner. She currently studies with Christine Kludjian. Margarita has guest-starred on several television shows and films, including NEVER HAVE I EVER, 9-1-1 LONE STAR, WHAT/IF, MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE, and the THREE NINJA'S film franchise, to name a few. What she is most proud of is her Mexican heritage
