Plump and distinctive character actress Mickey Fox was born Helen Fox on August 8, 1915 in New York City, New York. Fox played colorful small parts in a handful of films and TV shows made in the 1970's and 1980's. Moreover, Mickey not only was a former employee of the showbiz trade publication The Hollywood Reporter, but also was involved in both jazz and theater in New York City and Hollywood as well as was a co-producer of the play "Let's Put on a Show" which ran for two years at the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles. Fox died at age 72 on March 9, 1988 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
