He was a composer and editor of Flemish songs. He was also the head of two magazines 'Schlager-Editie' and 'Schlager-Revue'. Arnold Frank was also the owner of a recordshop in Antwerp, and he was known in Flanders because he had written several songs for movies directed by Jan Vanderheyden. He wrote the words for compositons used in the movies 'Met de helm geboren' (1939) and 'Veel geluk, Monika' (1941). The man wrote also two stage-plays : 'Slachtoffers der samenleving' and 'Is hij schuldig?'(both in 1941). From 1946 till 1947 he was head of 'the production company 'Arnold Frank Film'. In 1948 he became head of 'v.z.w. Lex Mundi Films' and started to direct the movie 'Leve de jeugd'. Unfortunately the movie was never finished. It became 'The film that never was!!'
