Greg Franklin was raised in the City of Manhattan in an area called "Hells Kitchen," and started studying Theater at the age of 16. (Also received his AEA Card at the same period) His first encounter was with Lee Strasburg. Lee turned out to be the most significant influence in Greg's life. After Lee's death, Greg attended The Actors Studio, where he continued his studies under Ernie Martin. Greg also sought creative training under Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse, and The Wooster Group under Willem Dafoe and John Malkovich. It was soon after Greg's work at the Garage (Wooster Group) that Greg moved to Los Angeles. Today Greg continues to work on both Stage and Film.
