Christine Furness

Born into a musical family Chrissie's grandfather Arthur James was a professional pianist touring the country playing for the silent movies and her grandmother Mary was a variety artist. Chrissie's mother was a semi professional musician playing the cello and piano and her father was a violinist. Aged 11yrs Chrissie won a Junior Exhibitioner Scholarship to the Royal College of Music where she studied piano for a further 5 years. She later decided to turn her attention to Drama and took a 3 year drama course at the Arts Educational Trust.
