Harry Gantz

Harry, along with his brother Joe, created and produced the groundbreaking HBO's documentary series Taxicab Confessions, which aired for 20 years on HBO. They produced the CBS Drama The Defenders, starting Jim Belushi, a rare courtroom drama from the defendant's point of view. More recently, Harry and his brother produced and directed the HBO documentary, American Winter, about middle class families falling into poverty during the great recession. Three of the families featured in the film testified at a US Senate hearing on the decline of the middle class, at the invitation of Senators Elizabeth Warren and Jeff Merkley. Harry Gantz Communications was launched in 2017 to make films for progressive candidates and causes. Harry's years of experience filming the most personal stories of real people, make him particularly qualified to help candidates connect emotionally and instill trust with voters.
