Victor Garrivier died in Paris in December 2004, at the age of 73. He started his career as a drama actor in 1954 - and played a wide variety of roles on stage, from Shakespeare's plays to Paul Claudel's. He was also a movie actor - for Bertrand Tavernier and Claude Chabrol. Garrivier was famous in France for playing "Antoine Zelder" in the TV show "Avocats & associes", which takes place in a law firm located in Paris.
