Albena Georgieva

Albena Georgieva was born in Vidin, Bulgaria. She graduated from National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in the class of Professor Margarita Mladenova and Professor Ivan Dobchev in 1994. She studies together with actors Snezhina Petrova, Tzvetan Aleksiev and writer Georgi Tenev. She is an actress of the troupe of Experimental Theater, named Theater Workshop "Sfumato", guiding by Margarita Mladenova and Ivan Dobchev. Albena Georgieva has played some very important roles, such as Julie in "Julie, Jean and Cristin", based on the play "Miss Julie" by Strindberg; Mother in the "Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams. She has participated in some Bulgarian movies. Albena Georgieva is teaching in the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria.
