After Scott's audition for Nashville Beat, he set out for the West coast. Scott had already done regional theatre and summer stock. But, the guest star role on In The Heat of the Night gave him the credentials he needed to make the move. This sandy haired, blue eyed actor from Nashville had bigger things in mind than merely a successful career in local television. So he moved to New York to study, and into the struggling world of a young actor. And to support his studies, he has done just about every kind of job imaginable. Soon came his first break as young "Tom Parker" on the CBS daytime drama Search for Tomorrow. Then came a small stint on Another World and eventually his run on All My Children. During this time he had the phenomenal chance to work with his idol, Martin Scorsese. By this time he had worked with John Hughes, Oliver Stone and Penny Marshall. It was now time to go West. It took no time for Scott to meet the players. He landed a role in the movie of the week Dead On with Tracey Scoggins and Matt McCoy. Then came The Cask of Almontillado, a film based on a short story by Edgar Allen Poe. Meanwhile, Scott continues to work on both coast and can be seen in Sex and the City on HBO and Celebrity Deathmatch on MTV. Not bad for a good ol'boy from Tennessee who didn't wear shoes until he was five.
