5-time Emmy-nominated Director of Photography Dana Gonzales' electrifying shots have launched him to the forefront of cinematography and directing, both in television and film. After shooting the first season, Gonzales led the visuals, as a cinematographer, for the second season of FX's mind-bending Marvel series, "Legion," starring Dan Stevens and Aubrey Plaza, for which he is was Emmy-nominated. In addition to his cinematography on the show, Gonzales directed the season's fan favorite episode, "Chapter 18," which FX network's CEO, John Landgraf, stated in a recent interview with Decider, was one of the best episodes of television he's ever seen. Gonzales' extensive cinematography career in television best exemplifies his unique ability to push the boundaries of multiple genres, including his upcoming work on Amazon's CIA thriller, "Hanna," as well as Netflix's "Chambers," for which he also directed the first season's fifth episode. His previous work consists of the first season of FX's "Legion," all three seasons of FX's "Fargo," including season 2 for which his cinematography won an Emmy, Netflix's epic crime drama, "Longmire", John Wells police drama "Southland" and more.
