Richard Gold

Richard was born in London and studied photography and media at Kensington & Chelsea College. His shot, starred in and edited his first advert while working at Molinare in Soho, which was screened on the TV show the Tube as part of an advertising agency competition. in 1998 Richard gatecrashed a casting for Star Wars Episode One and was only cast as a Nubo Warrior because the customs had already been made. He moved into crowd marshaling, doubling actors and as an assistant director, notably on Gladiator, Spy Game, Sleepy Hollow and stood in for Tom Cruise on Eyes Wide Shut, making him the only stand-in for a lead actor on a Stanley Kubrick Film. Richard produces and directs for TV, Commercial and online content, most recently a TV documentary series 'Inside Superyachts'.
