Oleg Kovachev took part in several Bulgarian movies in 1965-72: Knight Without Armour, The Longest Night, At Each Kilometre, The Kindest Person I Know, etc. He graduated in Cinematography from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts, Sofia, in 1980. As of 2005 he is director at BNT. He has made Flash of White Light (1983), Fountains (1984), The Soul (1986), Pearls (1987), Ballad of Gundi (2003), Mammy (fic. short, 2009), 245.5 (2009) among others.
