Ansgar Krook was born Nils Ansgar Paul Krook on 2 March, 1962 in Uppsala and died 29 September, 1992 in Stockholm. He was a Swedish director and singer. Krook was one of Sweden's most famous conductors, founding KammerensembleN, an ensemble specializing in post-1900 classical music. In 1975, he played the Second Spirit in Ingmar Bergman's Trollflöjten (1975), alongside Urban Malmberg and Erland von Heijne, who played the other two spirits.
