One of the most popular drivers on the NASCAR Winston Cup circuit, Terry Labonte became the sport's "ironman" in 1996 when he eclipsed Richard Petty's record of 513 consecutive race starts. He capped off the 1996 season by winning his second Winston Cup Championship. His first championship came in 1984.
