Catherine Larcey is an established actress based in Melbourne, she was born in Geelong, Australia to English parents, Patrick and Patricia Larcey who immigrated to Australia in 1971. Catherine's love for the arts comes from her grandfather, Carl Lacey who was an opera singer and actor in London in the 1950's. Catherine has dual Australian and British citizenship. Catherine's a naturally talented actress who trained at the prestigious Stella Adler Academy in Los Angeles and then perfected her on-screen skills with Aleksi Vellis at The Filmspace in Melbourne. Catherine's charismatic presence, teamed with her emotional and comedic range has seen her portray a variety of characters. Her comedic skills were seen on our TV screens in 'Neighbours' as Aimee Wu, and her dramatic skills were seen on the big screen as May in 'Cut Snake', alongside Sullivan Stapleton under the direction of Tony Ayres. More recently she was seen in Fremantle Medias award winning, Wentworth playing the role of Sharon Gilmour. Apart from acting Catherine is a qualified Screen Writer having completed an Advanced Diploma in Screen and Media (Television and Film Development).
