Ron Leach is a noted Canadian Casting Director (thirty years experience), award-winning Director (thirteen international award-winning short films produced and directed in the past seven years), award-winning Writer (11 best screenplay awards in the past year for his screenplay Fadeaway), and renowned Acting Coach (celebrating twenty years of teaching actors how to audition and perform on camera). Ron is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion; past president of the Dora Mavor Moore award-winning Acme Theatre Company (ten years); past Chairman of the Board of the Canadian International Animation Festival (six years and two festivals); as a talent agent he was the founder and President of the Board of the Talent Representatives Association of Canada. He has been a juror of the International Emmy Awards; the Canadian Film Awards; the Genie Awards; the Gemini Awards; the Oaxaca International Film Festival (Mexico); the Smart Phone Film Festival; the Durham International Film Festival; and is a regular judge of the Toronto Monologue Slam. Ron has taught acting for the camera at The Stratford Shakespearean Festival; The Vancouver Film School; St. Lawrence College; and has taught the art of filmmaking from script to screen at numerous colleges and universities in Oaxaca Mexico.
