Raised in a small, resort, beach town, in Delaware, Ed spent the first ten years of his life on top of the famous rock & roll bar, The Bottle & Cork. Upon graduating from business school, he moved to the Big Apple where he managed a night club for one year, and then made his way to the West Coast. After several years of producing theater & television projects in which he acted, he applied to the prestigious American Film Institute (AFI) - and was accepted into the Masters program. He graduated in 2002 with a handful of short films & numerous awards. In the first six years of his producing career, Ed worked his way up through the ranks - Production Managing and Line Producing for network television (ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX) on shows such as Big Brother, America's Next Top Model, The Apprentice and Homeland Security USA. With a strong foundation of hands-on, production experience built through the years, he later worked to create production companies from the ground, up - working as Executive in Charge of Production and Executive Producer. For nearly a decade, he helped develop, pitch and produce dozens of television projects for cable networks such as Bravo, Lifetime, National Geographic, HGTV, A&E, Syfy, MTV, Animal Planet, and a long list of others; sometimes teaming up with notable companies including Sony Pictures Entertainment and Scott Free Productions. Coming from a long line of family educators, Ed has enjoyed mentoring through the years. Since 2018, he has been fortunate with part-time teaching opportunities at Chapman University and California State University, Northridge. Ed loves sharing his varied life experience and knowledge of the entertainment business in class, helping shape the younger generations so that they understand the importance of implementing organization, communication, collaboration and leadership to every project. In recent years, Ed stepped away from unscripted programming, and returned his focus to scripted storytelling when he created/sold/produced a ten-episode, digital, comedy series for TBS; is completing a third novel for his sci-fi book series, THE CHIP; and is developing a handful of TV and film projects.
