Leslie Lehr is a prize-winning novelist, screenwriter, and essayist who graduated from U.S.C. School of Cinematic Arts and earned her MFA at Antioch University. Her new novel, the thriller "What A Mother Knows," follows "Wife Goes On," and her prize-winning debut, "66 Laps." She wrote the original screenplay for "Heartless," an independent film that aired on USA TV and financed a slate of five films for Santa Monica Pictures. She also wrote "Club Divorce" for Lifetime. Her popular New York Times Modern Love column follows essays in "Mommy Wars", Arianna Huffington's On Becoming Fearless" and "The Honeymoon's Over." Lehr's nonfiction books include "Welcome to Club Mom," "Club Grandma," and the celebrity design book,"Wendy Bellissimo: Nesting." Lehr began in production with a student Emmy for "War Games" then as West Coast Production Manager for the commercial and video company Jenkins/Covington/Newman/Rath, and films including "Barfly" and "Sign 'o the Times."
