James William Lincoln was born in Dallas, Texas, educated at Texas Tech University and Regent University, is a lifetime member of the Writer's Guild of America and lives and works in California. As a graduate film student, he won a Student Academy Award for writing and directing the film "turtle Races". He began his professional writing career on "Big Brother Jake," a situation comedy produced by the Family Channel in studios in Virginia Beach, VA. After moving to Los Angeles, he continued work on series such as "Weird Science," "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: the TV show," "Desperate Housewives" and also wrote original movies for the Disney Channel "Genius" and "Twas the Night." Jim has worked on original pilots for the Disney Channel and ABC, as well as the animated series "Sabrina the Teenaged Witch" and "Phantom Investigators." Jim also teaches Screenwriting and develops digital media for corporate brands such Mattel, inc. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Jill, their two daughters and a cat.
