Ruth has worked extensively in English and Spanish language media. She played Elena Chavez, America Chavez's mom, in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness directed by Sam Raimi. She previously worked with the iconic Sam Raimi in Drag Me to Hell. Ruth starred in the groundbreaking Showtime series Resurrection Blvd., recurred in Beverly Hills 90210, and was directed by Franco Zeffirelli at Rome's Cinecittá Studios. Her voice credits include Disney/Pixar's Cars on the Road for Disney+, Pixar's Golden Globe and Oscar-winning Coco (dir: Lee Unkrich), she Lolita opposite Val Kilmer's Zorro in the 2012 Grammy Awards nominee The Mark of Zorro, a recurring role in Disney's Elena of Avalor, a starring role in the Fwak! animated feature Los Campeones de la Lucha Libre, among others. Videogames include Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Sly Cooper 3, Dead Rising 3. On stage, Ruth has played lead roles at top equity houses including Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre, South Coast Repertory, The Goodman Theatre, The La Jolla Playhouse, The Denver Theatre Center, the Cincinnati Playhouse, and the Long Beach Opera. Also a WGAw writer, she was featured on the cover of the Writers Guild of America's Written By magazine for being the first writer to join that union via her work in digital media. Ms. Livier received special recognition by the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts, the Breakthrough in Entertainment Industry recognition from California Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante and the NAMIC Legacy Award. She has been featured in prominent publications including: Written By, TV Guide, Emmy Magazine, People en Espanol, Latino Leaders, Hispanic, and Latino Future, among others.
