Graduating from NIDA in with a Bachelor of Dramatic Art, Jacqueline studied acting, writing and singing at institutions including The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, The Adelaide CPA, and AFTRS. Theatre credits include: The Gates of Egypt (Company B Belvoir Street) Into the Woods (Sydney Theatre Company); Carnival of the Animals (Sydney Theatre Company/Theatre of Image); Time Gentlemen, Earth Song, The Time is Not Yet Ripe, Lipstick Dreams (Theatre South); In Memoriam (Griffin Theatre Company); The Family (Ensemble Theatre); Strangers in the Night (Playbox); Dream Girl (Green Room Festival); Partly it's about love and partly it's about Massacre!, and Often I Find That I am Naked (Savage Wit Productions/Melbourne Fringe Festival/Edinburgh Festival, New York Fringe Festival, Dublin Fringe, Canberra Theatre Co, UK regional tour). In film she has appeared in Dancing through the Turquoise, Damming, Muriel's Wedding and Perfect Match. Film & TV credits include: E Street, A Country Practice, Water Rats and All Saints. Awards include: The Edinburgh Fringe Festival Stage Award for Best Actress for Often I Find That I am Naked. Grants & Awards include: The NSW Ministry for the Arts, Arts SA, The Nelson Meers Foundation & The Besen Family Foundation to produce/tour a one woman show around Australia/UK; Grants from The Ian Potter Foundation & The Gloria Dawn and Gloria Payton Foundation to study voice in Padova, Italy; Grants from The Australia Council & Arts SA to produce a one woman show for the Adelaide International Fringe Festival; Grants from The Australia Council & the NSW Ministry for the Arts & Arts SA to tour internationally; Scholarship to study singing at The Sydney Conservatorium of Music; & Grants to study Theatre Internationally in USA and UK from The Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Trust for Young Australians, The Australian American Education Foundation, The Ian Potter Foundation & The Adele Koh Memorial Scholarship for Acting.
