Pedro Loeb is an Argentine-German screenwriter, director, professor and script doctor. He is known for two works as a screenwriter that were selected for an Oscar: "Felicidades" (Lucho Bender, 2000) and the short film "El amor a las cuatro de la tarde" (Sebastián Alfie, 2005). He directs La Factoría del Guión, one of the most important screenwriting schools in Spain. He has worked on various projects as a screenwriter such as "Madriz, Madriz"; Feature Film Script Award from the Community of Madrid and First Script Award from the Gibara Festival (Cuba). He is co-writer of the Documentary Film "Gabor", by Sebastián Alfie, Gaudí Award for Best Documentary 2014; Audience Award and Best Director at the Malaga Festival 2014; and Best Film at Documentamadrid. He recently shot "Bar El Negro", his first documentary as a director. While editing, he is preparing "Viaje a Ítaca", his next film as a director, selected among the 10 best scripts of the year by Dreamago (Switzerland), a co-production between Spain and Argentina, with the support of INCAA, to be shot in Argentina, Uruguay and Spain. (20/04/2023) As a professor, he teaches Script Seminars in Argentina (ENERC, Estudios Lumiton), Dominican Republic, and has been a professor at EICTV, in San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba).
