Kathy grew up in Vancouver BC area and graduated from North Delta Sr. Secondary school, landing her first stunt job at 15 years old on The Stepfather, playing a girl who got bullied and beat up at school. She landed this role due to her judo background, being multiple-time Canadian Champion in her sport therefore able to take a few hits to the ground. After dabbling in stunts through her teens, while travelling the world and competing with the Canadian Team, Kathy finally gave up judo just before the '92 Olympics and turned her attention full-time to stunt-work, landing a key-role in Rumble in the Bronx with Jackie Chan. She landed this role because of her motorcycle racing background, and this blockbuster release saw her riding a motocross bike over 20 cars and set her career off after that. Kathy has enjoyed a long career in the stunt-industry and has recently returned to her roots as well, just having won the Judo Masters World Championships and Jiujitsu Masters World Championships.
